Understand. Grow. Change.

Change starts with
understanding.

Psychology-informed therapy and coaching to help you understand the patterns behind your thoughts, feelings and behaviour — and create meaningful, lasting change.

For the things you want to change — and the things you haven't yet found words for.

Not every challenge fits neatly into a box.

Perhaps you know exactly what you want help with. Or perhaps you only know that something doesn't feel right, a pattern keeps repeating, or life isn't moving in the direction you want.

You don't need a label or a perfectly formed goal before you begin. We start with you, what is happening now, and what you would like to be different.

Whatever is getting in the way of the life, relationships or performance you want.

01

Habits & behaviour

Understand the patterns that keep repeating, what drives them, and how to create change that lasts.

02

Anxiety & overthinking

Make sense of the thoughts, feelings and protective responses that can leave you feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

03

Confidence & self-belief

Move beyond waiting to feel ready and build genuine confidence through insight, action and experience.

04

Life & relationships

Explore boundaries, communication, people-pleasing and the pressures affecting the way you feel and respond.

05

Performance mindset

Work with nerves, setbacks, focus and self-doubt in sport, work or any area where performance matters to you.

06

Change & new chapters

Find a clearer way forward through menopause, shifting roles, difficult decisions or a period of transition.

Understanding is the beginning.
What follows matters.

01

Understand

We look beneath the surface at what is happening, what triggers it and what your mind may be trying to protect you from.

02

Choose

With greater awareness comes more choice. We challenge unhelpful thoughts and identify a different response.

03

Change

You leave with practical, manageable ways to put that insight into action and build lasting change.

Psychology made practical, personal and relevant to real life.

I'm Sharon Johnson, a psychology-informed mindset and behaviour therapist and coach, and an NLP Master Practitioner. I have been helping people with confidence, mindset, behaviour and performance for many years, combining psychological understanding with practical therapeutic and coaching tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

Although my background includes extensive work in equestrian and sports performance, the challenges people bring to me extend far beyond performance. I work with confidence, anxiety, habits, relationships, life pressures, menopause, difficult decisions and the patterns that can leave someone feeling stuck.

I don't believe in telling people how to live their lives or offering generic advice. Instead, I help you explore the thoughts and behaviours attached to what you're experiencing, challenge what may no longer be helping, and develop practical tools that are relevant to you and your life.

My approach is warm, honest and curious. You don't need to arrive with a label, a diagnosis or even a perfectly formed goal—we begin with what is happening for you now and what you would like to be different.

Sharon is an experienced therapist and coach, NLP Master Practitioner and Centre10 Coach—specialising in the psychology of confidence, mindset and performance—and is preparing to undertake the Centre10 Advanced Programme in applied performance psychology. She is also studying for a BSc Psychology degree with The Open University.

You don't have to wait until breaking point.

Many people feel they should cope alone, worry that asking for help means they have failed, or believe therapy and coaching are only for a crisis. That can leave them waiting until every other option feels exhausted.

People seek support for all sorts of reasons: a repeating pattern, a difficult decision, anxiety, a relationship that feels stuck, a loss of confidence, a new stage of life—or simply the sense that something could be different.

You do not need to be at rock bottom, have a diagnosis or know exactly what is wrong. My psychology-informed therapy and coaching offer a private, non-judgemental place to understand what is happening, explore what may help and develop practical ways forward.

Part of working responsibly is recognising when someone's needs require medical, clinical or more specialist support beyond my professional scope. If that happens, I will discuss it openly and encourage you towards the most appropriate help. That does not diminish the work we can do; it ensures that your wellbeing remains at the centre of it.

What it feels like to work together.
